Lulu Powers Sneeky Drink Recipe

We’re thrilled to introduce an exciting new series with Lulu Powers – a renowned entertainologist, best-selling author, entertaining designer and celebrity chef (Bill Clinton and Madonna to name a few). Expect delicious food, drink and entertaining tips from the hostess with the mostest in the upcoming months.

We spent an afternoon with Lulu–and her adorable three dogs, Teddy Kennedy, Mr. Pickles, and Sparky—in her Pinterest board-worthy Los Angeles home and concocted this delicious beverage (drum roll, please): The Entertainologist Summertime Sneeky. It’s already our favorite beverage for hot summer days and can’t wait to make it over July 4th weekend.

We also love how Lulu styled her metallic gold Paulinna heels with a Lela Rose for Target dress and pendant necklace. Truly the perfect Friday outfit!

The Recipe

Makes 1 drink

Sparking rose (Lulu recommends Jaume Serra Cristalino Brut Rose Cava and it’s under $10)

2-3 blackberries

2-3 raspberries

1 strawberry for flourish

A sangria popsicle (see recipe below)

Combine and serve!

For Sangria Popsicles:

Mix dry 2 1/2 cups of rose wine, 2 tablespoons of sugar, blackberries and strawberries and pour into a large ice cube tray. When almost frozen, stick in popsicle sticks and let freeze entirely.
